In the given figure, lines AB and CD intersect at O. If ∠AOC + ∠BOE = 70° and ∠BOD = 40°, find ∠BOE and reflex angle EOC.

Solution
∵ BOA is a line
(∠AOC + ∠BOE) + ∠EOC = 180°
⇒ 70° + EOC = 180°
⇒ ∠EOC = 110°
⇒ Reflex ∠EOC = 360° - 110° = 250°
