Important solid non-metals are: Boron (B), Carbon (C), Silicon (Si), Phosphorus (P), Arsenic (As), Sulphur (S), Iodine (I).

11 non-metals are gases:
These are: Hydrogen (H), Nitrogen (N), Oxygen (O), Fluorine (F), Neon (Ne), Chlorine (Cl), Argon (Ar), Krypton (Kr), Xenon (Xe), Radon (Rn).
1 non-metal is a liquid. For example, bromine (Br).
