Briefly explain “Advance license scheme” announced by Government of India to promote foreign trade.

Answer

Advance license scheme : It is a scheme under which an exporter is allowed duty free supply of domestic as well as imported inputs required by the manufacture of export goods.

The advance licenses are available to both the type of exporters—those who export on a regular basis and also to those who export on an adhobasis.
