The efficiency of a heat engine is defined as the ratio of work done to the heat supplied, ie,

       η = work doneHeat input 

           = WQ

⇒    η = 1 - T2T1

where T2 is temperature of sink, and T1 is temperature of hot reservoir.

∴    40100 = 1- T2T1

⇒       T2T1 = 0.6

⇒        T2 = 0.6 T1

Again,   50100 = 1 - T2T1'

⇒           T2T1' = 0.5

⇒            0.6 T1T1' = 0.5

∴              T1' = 0.60.5 T1

⇒                T1' = 65T
