Represent the following pair of equations graphically and write the coordinates of points where the lines intersect y-axis :
x + 3y = 6
2x - 3y = 12

Solution

The given equations are :
x + 3y = 6    ...(i)
and 2x - 3 y = 12    ...(ii)
From equation (i), we get
x - 6 - 3y

   2x = 3y + 12
