An underground water tank is in the form of a cuboid of edges 48 m, 36 m and 28 m. Find the volume of the tank.

Solution

For water tank l = 48 m b = 36 m h = 28 m
∴ Volume of the tank = Ibh
= 48 x 36 x 28 m³ = 48384 m³.
