(i)The crude birth rate (CBR) is expressed as number of live births in a year per thousand of women. B = Live births during a year in a country. P = Population in mid year. |
(i)Crude Death Rate is expressed in terms of number of deaths in a particular year per thousand of population in a particular region. D=Number of deaths in a year in that country P = Mid year population for the year. |
(iii)In less developing countries crude birth rate is very high as compared to developed countries. |
(iii)The crude death rate is commonly used to measure mortality. |
