Now,
Acceleration, a = F/m = 0.5 / 1.0 = 0.5 m/s2
Now, using the second equation of motion, we have
s = ut + 1/2 at2
i.e., s = 0 + 1/2 X (0.5) X (10)2
= 25 m
Therefore,
Work done, W = F X s
= 0.5 X 25
= 12.5 Joule
