Write first four terms the A .P. when the first term ‘a’ and the common difference ‘d’ are given as follows :

a – 10, d = 10

Answer

a = 10, d = 10
First term = a = 10
Second term = 18 + d = 10+ 10 = 20
Third term = 20 + d = 20 + 10 = 30
Fourth term = 30 + d = 30 + 10 = 40
Hence, first four terms of the given A .P. are 10, 20, 30, 40.
