  1. Fitting of the dress should be according to the figure. It should neither be too tight or too loose and as well as according to the like to be wearer.
  2. It should be of the latest design, one should not feel outdated in the dress.
  3. Comfortable to the wearer.
  4. Fabric should be fo good quality so that it lasts longer, durable and has grace whenever one wears it.

Workmanship qualities:

  1. Cutting: Should be according to direction i.e length from wrap and breadth from weft.
  2. Stitching: Should be with strong thread and of same colour and fabric.
  3. Accessories: Laces and buttons etc. should match the fabric and give grace to the dress.
  4. Pleats should be of even width and equal.
  5. Lining if the lining is used, it should be compatible with the fabric and should not shrink, it should not leave colour on the dress.
