व्यंजक के गुणनखंड कीजिए और निर्देशानुसार भाग दीजिए:
left parenthesis straight y squared plus 7 straight y plus 10 right parenthesis space divided by space left parenthesis straight y space plus space 5 right parenthesis

Solution

∵           straight y squared plus 7 straight y plus 10 space equals space straight y squared plus 2 straight y plus 5 straight y plus 10
                             = y(y + 2) + 5(y + 2)
                                = (y + 2)(y + 5)
∴         fraction numerator straight y squared plus 7 straight y plus 10 over denominator left parenthesis straight y plus 5 right parenthesis end fraction equals fraction numerator left parenthesis straight y plus 2 right parenthesis left parenthesis straight y plus 5 right parenthesis over denominator left parenthesis straight y plus 5 right parenthesis end fraction equals straight y plus 2
∴     left parenthesis straight y squared space plus space 7 straight y space plus 10 right parenthesis space divided by left parenthesis straight y space plus space 5 right parenthesis = y + 2
