Given,

Total modulation index , $μ = {(μ_{1}^{2} + μ_{2}^{2} + μ_{3}^{2})}^{1 / 2}$

$∴$
$μ = [(0.4)^{2} + (0.51)^{2} + (0.45)^{2}]^{1 / 2} = 0.79$
