Question
CBSEENPH12038799

Using the concept of electron and hole current, write an expression for the conductivity of a semiconductor.

Solution
The conductivity of a semiconductor,

           σ = n
e + nh eμh

where,
ne is the number of electrons,
e is the electronic charge,
μe and μh is the mobility of electron and hole respectively.
