Given,
Current gain, $β$ = 120
Change in base current, $∆ I_{B}$ = 100 $μ$ A

A.c current gain, $β_{ac} = \frac{∆ I_{C}}{∆ I_{B}}$

$\Rightarrow$ $\frac{∆ I_{C}}{∆ I_{B}} = 120$

$\Rightarrow$ $\frac{∆ I_{C}}{100 μA} = 120$

$\Rightarrow$ $\frac{∆ I_{C}}{100 \times 10^{- 6}} = 120$

$∴$ $∆ I_{C} = 120 \times 100 \times 10^{- 6} A = 12 \times 10^{- 3} A = 12 mA$ is the change in the collector current.
