Solution

Ionisation energy is given by,

E_{\infty} - E_{1} = \frac{{mZ}^{2} e^{4}}{32 π^{2} ε_{0}^{2} h^{2}} (with Z = 3)

= 122 eV

Thus, ionisation potential is 122 V.
