Solution

The frequency of electron is given by,

v = \frac{v}{2 πr}

where, vis the velocity with which the electrons are moving and,
r is the radiusof the hydrogen atom.

Velocity, v = 2.2

radius of the orbit, r = 0.5287

∴

f =

\frac{2.2 \times 10^{6}}{2 \times 3.14 \times 0.5287 \times 10^{- 10}}
