Using lens maker's formula

\frac{1}{f} = (μ - 1) (\frac{1}{R_{1}} - \frac{1}{R_{2}})

∴

Power of lens,

P = \frac{1}{f} = (μ - 1) (\frac{1}{R_{1}} - \frac{1}{R_{2}})

Refractive index of violet light is greater than refractive index of red light.
Therefore, power of the lens will be increased when red light is replaced by violet light.
