Power of second lens = -2 D
Power of the combination of lens,

P = P_{1} + P_{2} = 4 - 2 = + 2 D

Since focal length,

f = \frac{1}{P}

Focal length of the lens,

f = \frac{1}{2} = 0.5 m = 50 cm
