Given,
Horizontal component of Earth's magnetic field = 0.16 G
$θ = 60^{o}$
Using the formula,
$B_{H} = B cosθ$
$\Rightarrow$ $B = \frac{0.16}{\cos 60} = \frac{0.16}{0.5} = 0.32 G$

which is the required magnitude of earth.
