Capacitance is given by-C=

\frac{ε_{\circ} A}{d}

where, A is the area of cross-section,
d is the distance between two plates.

When, area of each plate is doubled and distance between them is also doubled,
Capacitance-C=

\frac{ε_{\circ} 2 A}{2 d}

The factor 2 cancels out each other. This implies, capacitance remains unaffected.
