Solution

We know that dielectric constant of a medium is

K = \in_{r} = \frac{\in}{\in_{0}}

∴

\in = K \in_{0} = 1 \times 8.854 \times 10^{- 12} = 8.854 \times 10^{- 12} C^{2} N^{- 1} m^{- 2} .
