The resistance in parallel given by

$\frac{1}{R'} = \frac{1}{6} + \frac{1}{6} + \frac{1}{3} = \frac{2}{3} \Rightarrow R' = \frac{3}{2} = 1.5 Ω Now equivalent resistance between A and B i . e 6 Ω, 6 Ω and 3 Ω are in series with 2.5 Ω ∴ R'' = 1.5 + 2.5 = 4 Ω Now Ohm' s law, potential difference between A and B is given by \Rightarrow V_{A} - V_{B} = i . R = 2 \times 4 = 8 volt$
