Projectile motion is the motion of an object thrown or projected into the air, subjected to an only acceleration of gravity. The object is called projectile and its path is called trajectory.

Horizontal component of velocity is always same

⇒ v cos $α$ = u cosθ

v = $\frac{u cosθ}{cosα}$

⇒ v= u cosθ sec $α$
