Solution
Instantaneous position of the particle vibrating in S.H.M is given by,
                       y = A sin ωt
where, 
y = displacement of the body from the mean position, 
a = maximum displacement or amplitude of the body, 
omega is the angular frequency of the wave, and 
t  is the time of oscillation.
