Measure of any quantity is given by,

Measure = \frac{physical quantity}{unit}

\frac{X}{U_{1}}

Therefore, the number of times unit U₂ will be required to measure X is given by,

n_{2} = n_{1} \frac{U_{1}}{U_{2}}
