Question
CBSEENSC10013139

Do you know the charge of an electron in coulomb? How many electrons are there in one coulomb of charge?

Solution
We know that,
Charge on an electron, e = 1.6 x 10
–19 C

Using the formula,
                                 q=ne

                            n = q/e

q = 1C and e= 1.6 x 10–19 C

Therefore, One coulomb is equivalent to the charge carried by 6.25 x 1018 electrons.
