What can be other reasons of earthquake except movements in earth's plates?

Solution

Mainly the earthquakes are caused by the collision or the movements of the plates on the crust of the earth. But sometimes it is also caused due to volcanic erruptions. It can also be caused by the hitting of meteors. Underground nuclear explosions also cause earthquakes.
