What do you mean by displacement reaction?

Solution

The reaction in which a more reactive metal can replace a less reactive metal but a less reactive cannot replace more reactive metals are called displacement reaction.

For example Iron displace copper from its salt solution because iron is more reactive than copper but vice versa is not true.
