What happens when :

Iron nails are placed in copper sulphate solution?

Solution
Short Answer

 

Iron is more reactive than copper, therefore when it place in copper sulphate solution, iron replace copper from its salt solution and iron sulphate solution is formed. 

Iron +copper sulphate→ Iron sulphate +copper
      (blue colour solution)     (green colour solution)
