Question
CBSEENMA11014313

Prove that:

2 space sinA space cosB space equals space sin left parenthesis straight A plus straight B right parenthesis space plus space sin left parenthesis straight A minus straight B right parenthesis

Solution

R.H.S. = sin space left parenthesis straight A plus straight B right parenthesis space plus space sin space left parenthesis straight A minus straight B right parenthesis
= left square bracket sinA space cosB space plus space cosA space sinB right square bracket space plus space left square bracket sinA space cosB space minus space cosA space sinB right square bracket
           = 2 sinA cosB = L.H.S.
Hence,   2 sinA cosB = sin (A+B) + sin (A - B)
