State whether the following are true false. Justify your answer.
sin (A + B) = sin A + sin B.

Solution
 Take A = 30° and B = 30°.
Then sin (A + B) = sin (30°+ 30°)
equals sin 60 degree space equals space fraction numerator square root of 3 over denominator 2 end fraction
and sin A + sin B = sin 30° + sin 30°
equals 1 half plus 1 half equals 1
So, sin (A + B) ≤θ sin A + sin B.
Hence, this statement is false.
