Or

How can you say that Gemini Studios was a favourite haunt of people where they hardly discussed politics over a cup of coffee?

Or

Do the people at Gemini Studios show any political affiliations? Why?

Solution

The Gemini Studios was established in Madras in 1940 by S.S. Vasan the editor of Tamil Weekly ‘Ananda Vikatan’. Since then it has been doing a very remarkable service to the people of India by producing quality films. It had attained worldwide recognition.

Sometime in 1952, Frank Buchman’s Moral Re-armament Army was given a very warm welcome at the studios. The two hundred strong people of the M.R.A. from more than twenty nations, presented two plays. ‘Jotham Valley’ and ‘The Forgotten Factor.’ Their real aim was to counter internal communism by simple and plain sermons. The another visitor, months after, was a poet-editor Stephan Spender from England. He actually aimed at the introduction of his British weekly ‘The Encounter’.

Gemini Studios was the favourite hunt of the people-the poets, writers and others. Most of them wore Khadi-clad and praised Gandhi and the Prohibition policy of the Congress rule. They enjoyed poetry over a cup of coffee. They had the faintest affiliation to any political thought. Over a cup of coffee they discussed communism. All the visitors at Gemini Studios talked against communism over a cup of coffee. A communist was an atheist, having no love for son or wife. He would not repent for killing his own parents and children. He was always planning to spread unrest and cause violence befooling innocent, peace-loving people. So the Gemini Studios was a favourite haunt for people.
