Incomplete dominance is the condition when none of the alleles are dominant instead in the heterozygous condition an intermediate phenotype is formed. It hapens due to the modification of an allele which may result in less efficient or non-functional alleles. It gives a monohybrid phenotypic ratio of 1:2:1 instead of 3:1.
