Answer:(i) Alcosol: A colloidal solution having alcohol as the dispersion medium and soild substance as the dispersed phase is called an alcosol.for example:Colloidal sol of cellulose nitrate in ethyl alcohol is an alcosol.(ii) Aerosol. If the dispersion medium is gas the sol is called aerosol. Examples smoke. Dust.(iii) Hydrosol. When the dispersion medium is water, the sol is called hydrosol.
