Natural growth of population refers to the difference between the natural birth and death rates. While, migratory growth is caused by migration of people.
Compare the size of land holdings in China with that in India.
In India, the average size of land holding is about 1.5 hectares as per the year 1995 -96. But, it varies place to place. In China, land holdings vary from 1.4sq meter to square mile.
Discuss any two limitations of tube wells as a method of irrigation.
i. It is not fit for areas of brackish ground water.
ii. It can irrigate only a limited areas.
