Yes, Maddie was right when she thought that her silence was as bad as Peggy’s teasing because Peggy didn’t realize that she was being mean to Wanda. She had no idea that she was doing wrong. But, Maddie kept quiet even though she found it wrong. Her silence encouraged Peggy to do wrong to Wanda.
