Literature Reader Chapter 6 Virtually True

Although Sebastian was uncertain about how things happened, he thanked Michael for saving his life in the final e-mail he sent to him. He suggested that they should soon meet. He also requested him to keep the games because he had earned them.

In the final document, Sebastian thanked Michael for saving his life even though he was not sure how it had happened. He wrote that they should soon meet. Also, he asked Michael to keep the games because he had earned them.

The wedding guest beat his breast because he had been held up by the mariner while he could hear the loud bassoon, which was an indicator that the bride had reached the hall.

The poem reflects upon the king’s grand delusions of his own power and might, which he thought could be immortalized in stone. However, it proved to be only a wishful thinking because all that remained of that statue was a colossal wreck.

Sebastian Shultz had sent messages on Michael’s printer to communicate with him.

Michael also shared this fascination for games and gizmos with his father. Being such enthusiasts, they visited the computer fair.

There were various things which were common in all the computer games played by Michael. First, all the games were in the virtual world. And secondly, all the games had Sebastian as Michael's opponent. All the games were led by Michael just so that he could help Sebastian's memory to get freedom from the virtual world.

Michael’s dad was crazy about computers. He had bought the latest computer which could do anything: paint, play music, create displays. He had also bought many latest psycho-drive games, and a virtual reality visor and glove. In fact, he was so obsessed that he couldn’t resist buying the new gadgets and gizmos that came to the market.

According to the newspaper, six weeks ago, Sebastian Shultz was badly injured in a motorway accident and was in a coma throughout.  

He was nutty about computers as he bought a Pentium 150 Mhz Processor with 256 of RAM, a 1.2 Gb HDD, and 16 speed CD ROM complete with speakers, printer, modem and scanner from a computer fair. 

In the second game, Dragon Quest, he walked through the massive doors of dragon's castle, reached the princess and heard her call. Behind him, he could hear the dragon roaring. He felt so real. 

Wild West and Dragon Quest are role-playing games and Jailbreak is a combat game.

According to Michael's theory, at the time of the accident, Sebastian must have played one of these psycho-drive games and his memory got saved in the computer. And Michael was drawn into several attempts to retrieve that memory. 

Sebastian was on the roof along with the narrator. He was waiting for the helicopter when he spoke these words. 

Sebastian was referring to the idea that he will climb up the rooftop where he will be rescued by a helicopter. 

Yes, the idea was good. But it didn't succeed because the guards with their dogs bashed the door and in fear, Sebastian slipped down from the roof.  

The news of the 'miracle recovery' shocked Michael because it was about a teen boy named Sebastian Shultz, who had met with an accident and was in a coma for six weeks, and woke up yesterday. When he saw his picture, he recognised him, whom he was rescuing in video games.

Michael's meeting with Sebastian Shultz had taken place in the virtual world. He first met him in a video game called Wildwest. Sebastian being a sheriff asked Michael to follow him and he guided him throughout the stages of the game.

Michael and his dad bought a Pentium 150 Mhz Processor with 256 of RAM, a 2.6 Gb Hard disk drive and 16 speed CD ROM, complete with printers, modem and scanner. It could do anything from painting, playing music, creating displays and helped Michael in his homework. 

The first place where Michael was virtually transported was the game called Wildwest. In this game, he was in the middle of the town where the place was dusty. He then entered in a saloon nearby.

Michael received a print out in which he saw a picture of the second sheriff, in the bottom of which a message from Sebastian Shultz was printed, saying 'I am stuck, please help me to retrieve me. Try Dragon Quest.' 

Michael was following Sebastian. Sebastian had seen the posse of men speeding after them. They jumped on a horse. Then he told Michael to keep his head down and a bullet hit Sebastian. Before Michael could do anything, the game ended. 

When they were heading towards the dungeon, they went down the steps and suddenly, the dragon appeared at the end of the corridor. Before they could turn around, the dragon was upon them. He swung his sword but the dragon had taken Sebastian. There was nothing he could do to prevent it getting him.

This time they were in a warzone, where machine guns were firing and bombs were exploding. All they knew was to climb on a helicopter and escape the city. Both jumped into the jeep and they were off. A tank was following them. Suddenly, Sebastian slammed the brakes and the jeep started spinning. Michael made a jump into the helicopter but Sebastian couldn't. The tank crashed into the jeep and he fell on the ground injured.

At the time of the accident, Sebastian Shultz was playing these psycho-drive games. When his head banged, he was must have plugged into the computer. And the computer saved his memory in its own. This way Sebastian entered the games and got stuck there.

When Sebastian Shultz met with an accident, he was plugged into the computer. And computer saved his memory in its own. And in the hospital, someone had stolen the games disks, that was sold and Michael had ended up buying them.
