Evelyn was Seventeen years old when she went to the Royal Academy of Music in London.

When Evelyn was eight years old, her deafness was noticed. When she turned 11, her deafness was confirmed.

Percussionist Ron Forbes spotted her potential in music. He helped Evelyn to continue with music. Ron Forbes advised her to feel the music instead of listening it. He began by tuning two large drums to different notes. He asked her not to listen to them through her ears but to try and sense the sound in some other manner.

Evelyn performs at music concerts. In a very hectic schedule, she manages to give solo performances. Apart from that, she  performs free  at prison and hospitals. Through music she wants to spread the message of love and peace to prisoners and sick people.
