    Rebellious: In adolescents, girls become argumentative, flaunt rules and uncooperative
    Give more importance to peers: In adolescents, children are influenced by their peers.It may be positive or negative.

    • Positive influence – good behaviour, academics /dressing up, language.
    • Negative influence -may indulge in delinquent behaviour, slangs, verbal abuses, etc.

    Change in relationship with parents/family-Love-hate relationship with parents/siblings- Refuse to listen to parents, want privacy.
    The assertion of independence- In adolescents girls always want to get involved in decision making for themselves and family, become confident, want privacy and freedom.

    Social maturity/Idealism- Have a sense of right and wrong and want to change the system and processes.

    Attraction towards opposite sex- In adolescents girls feels inadequate and shy.
