Noise pollution : Noise pollution caused by the running of factories and vehicles is not merely a source of annoyance but is also a serious health hazard. Noise pollution can be responsible for many diseases like loss of hearing, malfunctioning of the heart and mental disorder.

According to Keith Davis 'the businessmen’s decisions and actions are taken for reasons and least partially beyond the firm’s direct economic or technical interests' is called social responsibility.
Name different environmental problems.
The United Nations has identified eight problems that cause damage to the natural environment. These are :
(i) Ozone depletion.
(ii) Global warming.
(iii) Solid and hazardous wastes.
(iv) Water pollution.
(v) Fresh water quality and quantity.
(vi) Deforestation.
(vii) Land degradation.
(viii) Danger to biological diversity.
