ii. He prompted the new independent countries to remain united and maintain their separate identity.
iii. The term 'non-alignment' was coined by Jawaharlal Nehru in his speech in 1954 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The founding fathers of the movement were: Josip Bros Tito of Yugoslavia, Sukarno of Indonesia, Gamal Abdel Nasser of Egypt, Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana, and Jawaharlal Nehru from India.
